Dr. Díaz Santos was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Wanting to work with animals since she was a little girl, she first pursued an undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico to complete the prerequisites while working as a veterinary technician at a local clinic. She then enrolled in Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and obtained her veterinary degree. Now having her dream fulfilled, she aspires to continue her education by pursuing a certification in acupuncture, as well as in the Fear Free Program, in order to better serve her furry patients. In her free time, you may find her at the movies with her best-friend/sister Verónica, binge-watching her favorite shows with her fiancée Nomar, or in bed reading a good book.
