Dr. Gillispie was born and raised in Middleburg, FL. She received her undergraduate and veterinary degrees from Mississippi State University. She enjoys surgery and internal medicine.

She is a certified veterinary acupuncturist and is continuing her education to become certified in food therapy and herbs. During her time away from work, she enjoys yoga and most of all spending time with her family. She has Lhasapoo named Duke and a cat, Baby Snuggles.
