Dr. Scholl graduated from Colorado State University in 1989. She practiced for one year in Massachusetts but decided to leave there because she disliked the cold weather. She moved to Orlando in 1990 to be warmer and to live closer to her sister.

After working for other doctors in the area for several years, she opened her own practice in 1994. Her mission was to care for pets in the manner that she believed in: to treat them as if they were her own. Dr. Scholl has two sons, Shaun and Parker, and a very loving husband, Jay.

Pets include two Coonhounds, Otter and Elvis,  and three cats. A lover of the outdoors, she enjoys water-skiing, diving, and spending time with her sons.
